Ingredients
1 teaspoon turmeric, ground
¼ teaspoon ginger, ground
¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1 pinch pepper, black or white, fresh ground*
1 pinch cardamom, ground
1 pinch cloves, ground
2 teaspoon jaggery, or raw honey
1 cup whole milk, raw
Directions
- Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat on low until milk is just warmed.
- Strain into a mug and serve warm.
Tips & Tricks
- When using raw milk, don’t heat over 104°F to meet raw food standards and maintain the raw milk nutrients. If using pasteurized milk then heat to preference and serve warm or hot.
- Black pepper is high in oxalate: Substitute white pepper on a low-oxalate diet. PN black pepper oxalate value was programmed using white pepper for LOD user’s accuracy for this substitution.
